Altenative usb controller for vista/7

Considering the BU0836 problem with Vista and windows 7... in that the device does show up in the HID list but not the game controller list... Is there another one that definetly does? And/or can a driver be written for the BU0836 that Vista / Windows7 will accept that can correct this issue? thanks

The BU0836A works with vista, I use it and I have vista ultimate 64 bit, but as for the basic BU0836 it wont work with vista and there seems to be no driver available.

I think that problem with Vista/Win7 are in older firmwares versions.

I test one BU0836 (not A or X) buy ~3 mounts ago in Win7/64 without problems:

AFAIK is not possible firmware upgrades, since these cards don't use boot-loader.
