All Receivers are functionally identical.
The pin outs are the only difference to allow for the various applications the modeler requires.
The 2x3 pins option are in parallel to the 1x3 pins. Thus pins are +v, gnd, signal.

Customers who require a larger servo, for instance use on a larger model should buy the 2x3 pin version as this allows them to directly plug on an larger servo.

Standard Futaba style plugs and sockets are used.

It will require the buyer to decide how to connect the dt line to the servo.
(It is recommended NOT to fix the DT line directly to the servo arm but through the normal mouse trap method to reduce the load on the servo. If too high a load is applied to the servo it may well work but drain the battery at a much higher rate.)

All clients are assigned a signal code for their units by us, this enables multiple units to operate at the same time.
Clients requiring multiple receivers for other models will be given the same code. Therefore only one Tx is required for each person.

- Host Timer output. (Suitable for use with Black Magic, Dan's Timer etc.) 100ms low level pulse.

To operate the system connect the LiPo to the three pins on the Rx.
Note the 1/2 length pin has no connection it is there only to prevent incorrect connection.
Reversing the LiPo plug will not cause harm but the unit WILL NOT OPERATE.

Once connected press and hold the small back button on the Tx.
The red button should light up.
This means the Rx and TX are communicating and the model is ready to launch.
Note this test will only work within a meter or so.


If when pressing the black button the red button flashes it is a warning of low (3.6v) Rx battery.
It is still safe to launch the model for that particular flight but charge the battery soon.
When the Rx battery is critically low (3.5v) the servo will arm then a second or so later return to the DT position to prevent accidentally launching the model.

To DT the model press and release the red button.
The Tx will bleep 3 times and transmit the command to the model.
The servo will rotate about 100 degrees
If the button is held down the Tx will continue to transmit continuously.

To rearm the servo press and hold the small black button, this will rearm the servo

The user can define the direction of the servo left or right and if the system is a host to be used with an electronic timer.
To select these options open the Tx case.
Inside you will see a knob marked 0-1-2-3.
In NORMAL use this MUST be set at 0.
To change servo direction move the slotted arrow in the center to the required number ie to make servo move right put arrow to number 2.
Then press and hold the black test button, after a few seconds the red button will flash.
When the red button is now pressed the servo will turn right.
This process is used to select the other options but of course using a different number option as printed on the inside of the Tx.

Tx will operate for several hundred times on a fully charged battery. As yet Tx has no low voltage alarm but later versions will have this facility.
